My name is Federico Cabrera, but you can call me Fede. I am a photographer based in Buenos Aires, running “Their Only Portrait”, a little personal project where I cycle through beautiful but impoverished remote areas, in order to make, print, and give away portraits to families who won't otherwise ever have a family photograph... and also to donate water filters & solar lights to those who need them most!
In the last 10 years, I rode more than 50.000 kilometers through South America (Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia & Argentina). I made + printed + gave away more than 500 portraits and I donated 350 solar lamps & water filters.
There aren't many reasons why you can't
make a difference, too!
It's never too late, you just need to carry a solar lamp and/or a water filter
the next time you travel to a remote location
and leave it/them with a local family before you return Home!

SAWYER ALL IN ONE
These are the water filters I'm donating and they can be attached to any bucket. They remove 99.9% of all bacteria (such as salmonella, cholera, E.coli, etc) and also 99.9% of all protozoa (such as giardia, cryptosporidium, etc). The kit without the bucket (not included) weights 285 grams (10oz) and filters 1.7 liters per minute... up to 378,000 liters (100,000 gallons)!
